Refugee & First Generation Literacy & Cross-Cultural Education Programs

"Remember, remember, that all of us -- you and I especially -- are descended from immigrants and revolutionists." Franklin D. Roosevelt, U.S. President, 1928

We welcome and advocate and provide literacy education for refugees and first generation citizens.  LSS of Utah has an extensive work-site learning skills program for over 80 adult refugees influencing 600+ refugee adults and children.  Worlds of Art fair trade shoppe offers cottage industry opportunities to refugees.  Join us as we advocate boldly on behalf of children, adults and families to ensure their employment; fair and ethical treatment; as each person journeys in becoming an American citizen.
